Chef Ben Ford officially earned his cooking stripes at some of the country’s most established restaurants and alongside several of America’s most treasured culinary icons. His acclaimed restaurant concept, Ford’s Filling Station, is based on the fundamentals of teaching, cooking and foraging, and was awarded the prestigious Cochon555 prize.
This special evening at Ford’s Filling Station will begin with an hors d’oeuvres reception featuring specialty cocktails from the restaurant’s innovative mixology program. You will have the opportunity to watch cocktail demonstrations at the bar then taste the creations.
Following the reception, Chef Ford will begin dinner with a cooking demonstration and question and answer session where you will hear firsthand about his culinary, dining and entertaining philosophies. Chef Ford will specially curate a four-course dinner, drawing inspiration from the abundance of fresh produce and artisanal meats available through California farms, and his travels through the south and southwest. Each course will be paired with wine.
