In addition to being a singer, Mary Wilson is also a best-selling author, motivational speaker, businesswoman, former U.S. Cultural Ambassador, and humanitarian. Mary Wilson is the only constant member of The Supremes throughout the group's eighteen-year existence.
This special Inside Access from Chase evening will begin with a pre-show hors d’oeuvres reception with wine and beer followed by photos with Mary Wilson. Then, guests will have the opportunity to hear first-hand from Mary about her life on and off the stage during a moderated interview. After the interview, Mary and her band will rock the walls of the Soundstage at Harlem’s World Famous Apollo Theater. Musical numbers will include: Love Child, Come See About Me, Where Did Our Love Go, You Can’t Hurry Love and Baby Love.
In 1988, Mary Wilson accepted the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of The Supremes when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Then, in 1994, The Supremes received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
