Built in Chicago’s thriving Warehouse District in a former print shop from the 1890s, Sepia’s sensibility echoes bygone eras throughout both its space and dining experience. From the custom-tile Art Nouveau floor, to the hand-crafted millwork and the vintage stemware, the easy elegance of the lounge and dining room serve as an ideal backdrop to Executive Chef Andrew Zimmerman’s inventive, American cuisine.
Chef Zimmerman seamlessly melds classic and contemporary cooking styles that allow the quality and purity of ingredients to shine through. He proudly supports local artisan farmers, and encourages craftsmanship and the revival of traditional practices in the kitchen.
This special Inside Access from Chase evening will begin with a reception featuring savory selections and specialty cocktails. The evening will continue with a four-course seasonal menu specially-curated by Chef Zimmerman and paired with wines selected by Beverage Director Arthur Hon. Chef Zimmerman will share stories about his culinary journey and take photos with guests.
Sepia has earned outstanding reviews and awards including a Michelin star in Chicago’s inaugural Michelin Guide in 2011 and has continually retained this prestigious star rating. Chef competed in the Food Network’s Iron Chef America and defeated his opponent, Iron Chef Marc Forgione.
