A Private Evening with Chef Seamus Mullen at Tertulia in New York City! PAST EVENT

Billy Harris of “Hanging with Harris” will host this special evening for Inside Access from Chase guests with Chef Seamus Mullen at Tertulia his first solo restaurant in Manhattan. Inspired by the charming sidrerias, or cider houses, of Asturias in northern Spain, Chef Mullen opened Tertulia in the West Village in 2011 where he has garnered three stars from New York magazine and two stars from The New York Times.

This private evening will begin with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception followed by a four-course wine paired dinner and live auction. Known for his approachable, modern Spanish cuisine Chef Mullen will specially curate a reception and dinner menu including select signature dishes, a variety of tostas and sartenes (small, grilled sharing dishes), tapas and larger platos familiars (large format family-style dishes).

The live auction hosted by Billy Harris will benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in the United States. Auction items will include a Vittoria Coffee Capino Espresso machine and a 1 year supply of coffee, a Williams Sonoma Thermo-Clad™ Stainless-Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set, and a special surprise from Chef Mullen.

Chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and health and wellness expert Seamus Mullen began his love of cooking as a child. Growing up on an organic farm in Vermont, he learned the value of harvesting the surrounding land to bring flavorful meals to the table. Seamus studied in Burgos, Spain, thus beginning his love of the country's vibrant food and culture. When he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2007 he was forced to rethink his relationship with food and he changed his cooking and lifestyle becoming a wellness expert and author of two books; Hero Food and Real Food Heals. In 2013 he opened his second NY restaurant, El Colmado, in Gotham West Market.

For the past twenty years, Billy Harris has been wowing audiences throughout the United States and around the world. His razor-sharp timing and brilliant improvisational skills have made him one of the most sought-after MC's in the business. His award-winning web series, “Hanging with Harris”, has over 125 episodes which feature Billy Harris as he travels the world visiting everything from the finest restaurants to local dive bars.

Share Our Strength was started in 1984 by brother and sister Billy and Debbie Shore, in response to the ‘84-‘85 famine in Ethiopia. Today Share Our Strength focuses on making No Kid Hungry a reality in America.

During the evening guests will have an opportunity to hear first-hand about Chef Mullen’s culinary journey. He and Billy Harris will also be available for photos.
